Our technicians use a water-based product in controlling and eradicating wood-boring insects such as beetles and their larvae, also known as “woodworm.” The water-based treatment is applied to the infested wood, usually by brush or spray, to penetrate the surface and reach the insects. The active ingredient in the treatment will then kill the woodworm, preventing further damage to the wood. This method is considered to be environmentally friendly and safe, as water-based products typically have low toxicity levels and are free of harmful solvents.
